With Datalogic's new imaging technology it allows the Magellan 3300HSi to deliver an outstanding performance when capturing hard-to-read barcodes such as short out-of-spec, poorly printed and GS1 DataBarcodes and provides support for both linear (1D) and 2D label decoding. The types of applications the 3300HSi is ideal for are Point of Sale, Mobile Marketing Capabilities, Age Verification and 2D Barcodes. Another feature with the 3300HSi is that it includes Diagnostics Reporting, Host Download and Productivity Index Reporting. These all allow management to use data from the scanner to improve throughput and manage maintenance. With a mobile phone reading mode that is either activated by a push of a button or a host terminal software command, it optimises the light levels to be able to capture images or read barcodes from mobile phones or PDAs.
