The A770 HC supports digital image capture function which enables you to scan barcodes and capture images with a single device. It is capable of reading paper-based and electronic barcodes and with high density and standard range models available, these are designed to meet the needs of various barcode scanning applications. To improve patient safety, PDF417 and 2D barcodes are commonly used on patient ID bracelets and medications. 2D barcodes are used to track laboratory samples and many companies that use this process are pharmaceutical and biomedical companies.
