With Datalogic's Motionix motion-sensing technology, it will detect the natural actions of the operator and automatically switch the scanner into the desired barcode scanning mode. This technology works with or without the use of a stand, offering both hand held and presentation barcode reading options. With highly visible warm-white illumination, the GD4500 makes reading the 2D barcode technology easier on the human eyes and reads coloured labels much better. To reduce accidental reads, its highly visible 4-Dot aimer defines a precise reading zone, while the aimer's centre cross provides a locator for targeted scanning in a multiple barcode environment. There is also a Healthcare model available within the GD4500 series and this features a disinfectant-ready and anti-microbial enclosures for applications in the Healthcare industry.
