The CAT-4 Standard Heavy-Duty Label Rewinders can handle labels up to 155mm wide and will wind a roll of labels up to 300mm diameter. Created to extend the capabilities of our heavy-duty rewinder range, the CAT-4 is now our most performant rewinder. Designed with an external command interface, it allows the CAT-4 to support direct control start/stop by the barcode printer (check compatibility with your printer vendor). It also offers an optional adjustable Start Delay to allow the printer to execute back-feed without resistance from the rewinder.

Description:

The CAT-4 will gradually replace the CAT-3 but the tension arm option will not be available on the CAT-4. The CAT-3-TA will remain available for any applications that require the tension arm. Even though the CAT-4 is similar to the CAT-3, the aim of the CAT-4 is to provide a rewinder that requires no tension arm. With an external control input, it can be controlled through the printer, meaning the printer will only activate the rewinder when printing or feeding forward. So the printer can execute back-feed without resistance from the rewinder, it has an optional adjustable Start Delay function. The CAT-4 allows users to control the tightness of the rewound rolls, as it has a 3-position torque switch (compared to 2 on theCAT-3) and with the absence of a tension arm, it allows for better rewound rolls and increases the overall reliability of the rewinder.
