Because of how convenient and durable the PX-20 scanner is and how simple, easy and quick it is to use, it is used by a wide audience. The PX-20 uses Bluetooth 4.0 connection as it provides a real-time data transfer but if there is no connection the data can be transferred through the USB-cable that is included. A lot of thought went into the design and choices of materials used to make companion scanner drop resistance up to 1.8 meters, water resistant due to its IP54 and its strong battery that lasts up to 35 hours.
