These scanners are part of Zebra's 3600 Series and are practically indestructible, the DS3608-DP is a corded scanner and the DS3678-DP is a cordless scanner, both are capable of capturing 1D and 2D barcodes displayed on a screen or printed on a label.

Description:

The DS3608-DP/DS3678-DP both have an ultra-rugged design that is suited to the tough environments of the warehouse and manufacturing plant floor. These corded and cordless scanners are the only ones in this class that are dust-tight, spray proof and waterproofed to IP67, with an IP65-sealed cradle for a complete rugged cordless solution. As well as 1D and 2D barcodes, these scanners can capture a range of barcodes within the manufacturing plant and these include direct part marks regardless of size, surface, contrast, density or type - including challenging dot peen, chemical or laser etch, ink, inkjet mould, cast or thermal spray marks. This allows users to remotely configure and upgrade scanners, format data properly for instant transmission into business applications, monitor battery statistics for cordless models and more.
